Lineclenze

Overview: In order for beer to get from the barrel to the tap it goes through beer lines, where yeast at a micro-level rises. This means they have to be cleaned out once a week and 4-6 beers have to be thrown away. LineClenze uses radiowaves to irritate the yeast molecules slowing the formation meaning less wastage.

What did I do?: Video Production

What did I learn?: The service industry makes good money but is in fact incredibly hard to sell to.

Originally hired to create a promotional video for the company when out filming I noticed they were missing an opportunity. Every bar person we talked to mentioned how they had moved through several pubs and that staff turnover was quite high. This gave me the idea that we should be targeting these people as potential champions of the product and installed a referral scheme that incentives staff to sell on the product both for commission and because it makes their life easier. The time in explaining the product is supplemented by the fact that once you have one champion, when they move to a new establishment, they have another opportunity to make a commission.

“The proof of the pudding with these types of things is always in what other people say, and everyone we’ve spoken to has been so positive about the end product. It represents our business so well and really matches the branding and website. So we’re very thankful”
